Files are missing from the file browser when clicking Open in Microsoft Office.
Environment
Cause
By default, the Open dialog window displays only files for the currently open program, e.g. Word Documents are shown inside of Microsoft Word. This filter does not show templates and legacy file types, such as .doc and .dot.
Resolution
Select All [name of progarm] Files or All Files from the dropdown box at the bottom of the Open dialog to display all file types for that program or all files within that folder.
