Replacing an Enrolled Device

How do I re-activate the Duo app on a new phone with the same phone number?

Environment

  • Duo Mobile

Resolution

If you have changed your phone number and do not have another device enrolled, please contact the ITS Service Desk or submit a service request.
  1. Go here.
  2. Log in with your NetID and password.
  3. Click Add a new device.
  4. Approve the login request using a different enrolled device, or click Passcode and then click Text me new codes.
  5. Select the type of device you want to add.
  6. Enter your mobile telephone number.
  7. Check the box to replace the existing number.
  8. Follow the directions on screen.
