Deleting an Email Account on Mobile Device (iOS)

Issue/Question

How do I delete an email account from my iOS (e.g., iPhone, iPad) device? 

Environment

  • iOS 10+

Resolution

  1. From the home screen of your device, tap Settings. 
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords. 
    Note: If you are using iOS 13 or later, tap Mail, then Accounts. 
  3. Tap the account you wish to remove. 
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Tap Delete again to confirm your choice.
