How do I setup Time Machine?

Resolution

  1. Connect an external hard drive.
  2. If prompted, select Use as Backup Disk.

If you are not prompted:

  1. Click (Apple menu).
  2. Select System Preferences.
  3. Click Time Machine.
  4. Click Select Backup Disk... .
  5. Select a hard drive from the list.
  6. Click Use Disk.
  7. Ensure Back Up Automatically is enabled, if desired.
