Prompting to Install Only From App Store

Issue/Question

I can't install applications from anywhere other than the app store. 

Environment

• Windows 10 

Cause

The Allow apps from the Store only setting is selected in the Apps and Features setting. 

Resolution

1. Click on the Start button  and navigate to the Settings.
2. Type the following in the search bar:apps.
3. Click Apps and features. 
4. Under Installing apps, where it states Chose where you can get apps from. Installing only apps from the store helps protect your PC and keep it running smoothly, select the drop down menu and select Allow apps from everywhere.
