Changing Desktop Wallpaper

Issue/Question

I want to set a different wallpaper on my Mac, but when I select the picture I want, the background does not change.

Environment

• WKU-Owned Macs setup since January 2019

Cause

A configuration file that automatically applies the WKU branded wallpaper prevents other wallpapers from being set.

Resolution

1. Click (Apple Menu).
2. Select System Preferences.
3. Click Profiles.
4. Locate and click WKU Desktop Picture.
5. Click to remove the profile.
6. Click (Show All).
7. Click Desktop & Screen Saver.
8. You can now set the desired background.
