How do I enable Closed-Captioning for Zoom Cloud Recordings?
Environment
Resolution
- Sign into the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation panel, click Settings.
- Click the Recording tab.
- Under Advanced cloud recording settings, verify that Audio Transcript is enabled.
- If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it.
- Log out of your Zoom desktop client, and log back in using SSO for the changes to take effect.
You can now record meetings to the Zoom cloud with closed-captioning. Closed captioning is not available for local recording. All WKU faculty and staff are able to record to the Zoom cloud.
