How can I make sure that content on my Blackboard course site is available to students?
Resolution
Student Preview allows instructors to interact with their course site in the exact same way a student would, including (but not limited to) taking tests, submitting assignments, and interacting with discussions.
- Open course in Blackboard.
- Click Student Preview (top right).
- Click Start Preview.
- Once finished, click Exit.
- Click Save or Discard.
- Save: Student Preview generates a preview_user by which you may view items in your course. Save will retain the preview_user and it's associated data including grades and interactions.
- Discard: Clicking Discard will delete the preview_user from your roster and all associated data from the course, including data previously saved from past Student Preview sessions.
