How do I create a new Outlook profile?

Resolution
If you used local folders to store mail previously in Outlook, you will need to add these folders back in order to access / add additional messages to those folders. Please see
this article
for instructions on adding previously created local folders to Outlook.
If it is open, close Outlook.
Click the Windows
button
.
Note:
On Windows 10 you may also right-click the
Start button
.
Select
Control Panel
.
At the top right, ensure
View by:
is set to
Large icons
or
Small Icons
.
Select
Mail
.
Click
Show Profiles...
Click
Add...
Enter a new
Profile Name.
Click
OK.
Proceed through the
Auto Account Setup
wizard.
If prompted, authenticate with
Microsoft MFA
.
Note:
If you receive message
Allow this website to configure server settings?
, check
Don't ask me again
, click
Allow
.
After the profile has been added, return to the
Show Profiles...
menu.
From the dropdown, select the
new profile you just created
.
Click
Apply
to use this profile when opening Outlook.
Click
OK.
Open
Outlook
.
Note:
It may take some time to populate all emails / folders when Outlook first connects to the account.
