Applying View Settings to All Mail Folders (Outlook 2019 Windows)

Issue/Question

How can I change the view settings for all my Outlook folders at once? 

Environment

  • Microsoft Office 2019
    • Outlook 2019 

Resolution

  1. Click on the mail folder that has the view settings you want.
  2. Click the View tab.
  3. Click Change View.
  4. Select Apply Current View To Other Mail Folders.
  5. Click all the folders you want to share these view settings.
  6. Ensure Apply view to sub folders is enabled. 
  7. Click OK.
