Printing to a Student Technology Center (STC) Printer from Personal Device

Issue/Question

How can I send a print job from my personal device to an on-campus Student Technology Center (STC) printer?

Environment

  • Android
  • ChromeOS
  • iOS/iPadOS
  • macOS
  • Windows

Resolution

Current faculty, staff, and students are eligible to use printers in a Student Technology Center; alumni and retirees are ineligible.

You must be on the WKU network, such as WKU-SECURE, WKU-Wireless, or using an ethernet connection or connected to WKU VPN, in order to access WKU printers.

Some third party VPN or firewall apps/software can interfere with your device being able to see or use these printers.  If you experience any issues, try temporarily turning off or disabling such software.
