Adding TopperMail or Exchange Account on Android Gmail

How do I add my WKU email account to my Android device if Gmail is the stock email app?

Environment

• Android 5.0 "Lollipop" and newer

Cause

Opening the stock email app results in this message. "Email has moved. The Gmail app now lets you view all of your email accounts." In April 2016, Gmail added support for Exchange accounts.

Resolution

1. Open the Gmail application.
2. Choose Add account.
3. Select Exchange and Microsoft 365.
    Note: If you do not see this option, you may have to update your Gmail app from the Google Play Store.
4. Enter in your account information as prompted. 
5. Authenticate with Multi-Factor Authentication if prompted. 
6. Save the changes.
